Drawing in situ within the landscape in all weathers, plays an important part in my work.
Initial sketchbook work is then mulled over in the studio where I begin to form ideas for paintings which are
based on weather conditiions, colour and atmosphere. Here are some 'snippets' from my sketchbooks.
